Job Description

Act as the first point of contact for all associate HR-related phone or self-ticketing inquiries while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. Record interactions in the case management system, resolve cases, and escalate to subject matter experts when needed. Use all navigational tools provided to find answers, improve processes, and inform Supervisors of missing, inaccurate, or confusing documentation. Focus on continuous improvement and skill building.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming phone calls or self-service tickets from employees, managers, terminated employees, family members, and outside agencies.
  • Reference company policies and access systems to ensure accurate responses and provide high-level customer service.
  • Recognize when escalation to a subject matter expert or Supervisor is necessary.
  • Record all call or ticket details and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform HR transactions in the HR system and other applications accurately within scheduled timeframes.
  • Utilize case management systems, knowledge bases, and tools to actively manage caseloads in line with team goals and service levels.
  • Participate in ongoing training to improve expertise, customer service skills, and productivity.
  • Process routine insurance premiums and assist with HR-related projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma and 2-3 years of office environment experience.
  • Experience in delivering customer service.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Excellent listening and telephone skills.
  • Ability to ask relevant questions, clarify incomplete information, and summarize key points.
  • Good data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in HR and payroll processes.
  • Experience in a customer service call center.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
