Job Summary
Eurest is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods, coordinating kitchen activities, and supervising food-service associates. Candidates must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food following approved recipes and production standards.
- Coordinate activities of cooks and food-service associates.
- Assume responsibility for kitchen operations in absence of Executive Chef.
- Supervise hourly associates: interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain food safety, proper handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, workstations, and display areas.
