Operational Risk Officer II (US)

Pay Range: $68,640 - $102,960 USD
The Operational Risk Officer II provides a broad range of operational risk analysis, reporting and/or support to business partners. Acts as a specialist/expert in providing guidance/advice on operational risk related matters within assigned area of specialization.
- Analyze potential operational risks and escalate key risks to appropriate areas.
- Support ongoing operational risk measurement activities and reporting.
- Provide regular risk analysis on operational loss performance of the business.
- Assist in scenario analysis, risk assessment, and escalation processes.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of existing and emerging risks.
- Support enterprise-wide operational risk strategies and corporate requirements.
- Provide training and guidance on risk and emerging trends.
- Foster strong relationships with business unit management on risk issues.
- Participate in scorecard reviews, capital allocation issues, and regulatory reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- FINRA S7, 24 preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of operational risk issues.
- Proven analytical ability, planning, and process management skills.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in investigations, audit, information security, compliance, or risk management.
- Ability to build strong business relationships inside and outside Risk Management.
